Atari Lynx I & II Repair Kit
The Atari Lynx and Lynx II had a very poorly designed circuit that relied on a Zener diode and a resistor to regulate the common ground to 5V.
The problem is that this circuit often burns out the transistors and zener diode due to overheating and poor quality circuit design. This power repair kit replaces each component in the power control circuit with properly sized components, regulates the voltage to a clean 5.05V (to account for voltage drop in modified consoles), and each component has a much higher amperage rating.
In addition, the Zener diode configuration in this kit has been improved to reduce the current through the transistors and Zener diode by more than 100% to prevent burnout in the future.
Compatible with all variants of Lynx and Lynx II consoles from all regions.
