The firmware of the FPGBC can be updated via USB-C, the latest firmware can be found here: https://github.com/makhowastaken/GWGBC_FW/tree/main
NO original GBC donor console is required for the installation!
The maximum clock frequency is 1.25 times the OEM CPU - to achieve the most accurate speed, we recommend 2 steps below maximum
In combination with RetroSix buttons there are problems with the directional pad (inaccurate input with "up"), we therefore recommend using Button sets from FunnyPlaying
