Tips

• The disturbing noises are generated by the CPU, the SRAM and the power regulator. The lack of adequate filtering on the GBA means that the noise is passed directly to the audio on the board. This capacitor kit filters the sound before it reaches the audio.
• The noise is additionally amplified by various amplifiers such as the CleanAmp from RetroSix. The filter kit should therefore always be installed in combination with the IPS kit and amplifier.
