The V2 IPS kit is one of the classics and still impresses today with its rich colors and high contrast.

Tips

  • A small modification to the shell is required for installation in the OEM shell
  • The display pane is not pre-installed (laminated) and must be glued to the LCD itself before installation
  • The "Blank" variant comes without a display screen
  • The V2 kit has a brightness control via the brightness button of the GBA SP. A cable must be soldered to the GBA SP mainboard for this purpose

  • The mod / installation requires basic technical knowledge and appropriate tools.

  • ATTENTION: The Display must be tested BEFORE installation! Before you install the LCD kit, you first need to test it (dry run). It is important that the LCD is tested outside the shell BEFORE installation so that damage caused by the installation can be ruled out. Likewise, no adhesives must have been applied, LCD frames used or soldering work carried out. The LCD is very fragile and can be destroyed by even slight pressure. Complaints about kits that have already been installed will unfortunately have to be rejected without exception!
